Mehaffie to Host Fish and Boat Seminar on March 1 in Hershey

February 12, 2018

DERRY TOWNSHP – To better inform area residents about the many state programs designed to promote fishing and boating activities, state Rep. Tom Mehaffie (R-Dauphin) is hosting a free fishing and boating seminar on Thursday, March 1, from 6-8 p.m. at the Derry Township Municipal Building.

Representatives from the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission will discuss a number of topics to get local anglers and boaters ready for the upcoming fishing and boating seasons. This is a free seminar and boating or fishing licenses are not required to attend.

“We have many anglers and boaters in the 106th District, and I hope they consider coming out to learn what Pennsylvania’s waterways have to offer this spring,” Mehaffie said.

Seating is limited and advance registration is required. Residents can register to attend the seminar by calling Mehaffie’s office at (717) 534-1323, by Feb. 23, 2018.

The Derry Township Municipal Building is located at 600 Clearwater Road, Hershey. The seminar will take place in the board room.
