HARRISBURG – Rep. Tom Mehaffie (R-Dauphin) took the oath of office Tuesday to begin his third term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

Mehaffie’s priorities for the 2021-22 session include advancing legislative solutions for transportation infrastructure; small businesses and job creators, particularly restaurants and the hospitality sector harmed by COVID-19 restrictions; those with intellectual disabilities and other medical disorders; and families who need relief from economic harm associated with the pandemic.

“Now, more than ever, I am resolved to aid in Pennsylvania’s recovery from the pandemic’s effects, and I look forward to again advocating for the 106th District in the Legislature. There are several initiatives I’ll continue to push forward,” Mehaffie said.

Mehaffie previously served on the Consumer Affairs, Game and Fisheries, Gaming Oversight and Professional Licensure committees, and hopes to be reassigned to the same committees this session.
