HARRISBURG – Rep. Tom Mehaffie (R-Dauphin) took the oath of office Tuesday to begin his fourth term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
For the 2023-24 Legislative Session, Mehaffie’s priorities include enhancing early childhood education opportunities, supporting pro-business policies and initiatives that help those with intellectual disabilities, advocating for safe patient-to-nurse ratios at hospitals, and exploring new ways that shuttered power plants can be useful for Pennsylvania’s energy future.
“With my experiences in the Legislature and business background, I feel I am well positioned to be a strong voice for Dauphin County’s interests in the coming session. This is a time to renounce divided government and ensure we are doing the people’s work,” Mehaffie said.
