Mehaffie to Host Two Breakfasts for Area Veterans

WHAT: Rep. Tom Mehaffie (R-Dauphin) will host two breakfasts to recognize veterans of the 106th District and thank them for their service to our country. Both events will feature a special certificate presentation to Korean War veterans.
The Thursday, Nov. 8 breakfast will feature Brig. Gen. David E. Wood, director of Joint Staff – Army, Pennsylvania National Guard, as the keynote speaker and musical performances by the Hershey High School Quartet, among other presentations.
The Friday, Nov. 9 breakfast will feature Col. Terrence L. Koudelka Jr., commander of the 193rd Special Operations Wing, Pennsylvania Air National Guard, as the keynote speaker and musical performances by the Middletown Area High School Select Choir.
WHO: Mehaffie; other local officials and veterans’ representatives; and a combined total of more than 200 veterans from the 106th District.
WHEN: Thursday, Nov. 8, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Friday, Nov. 9, from 8-10 a.m.
WHERE: Lower Swatara Fire Department, 1350 Fulling Mill Road, Middletown.
